  • AQUAZOSTA® ist ein Unternehmen innerhalb der Life Sciences des BioCon Valley von Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, mit dem Fokus auf F&E sowie der Herstellung von Produkten auf der Basis von veredeltem Seegras.
  • Grundlage ist der patentierte Wirkstoffkomplex MAREZOSTIN®, der das Seegras zu einem innovativen einzigartigen Breitbandrohstoff macht.
  • Das Unternehmen erforscht die Verwertung und die Veredelung des Marinen Naturrohstoffes Seegras aus der Ostsee, Zostera marina, für neue Anwendungsbereiche. Mit Partnern aus Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft, Technologie und Verwaltung werden im eigenen Netzwerk der „Wertschöpfungskette vom Meer zum Markt“ Produkte aus Seegras für die Bereiche Kosmetik/Thalasso-Wellness, Gesundheit und Ernährung (Food / Feed) entwickelt.
  • Der Schwerpunkt von AQUAZOSTA liegt in der Schaffung von Produkten hoher Wertschöpfung, den sogenannten „Added Value-Produkten“, kontinuierlichen Produktinnovationen sowie der Schaffung innovativer Arbeitsplätze.

  • AQUAZOSTA® is a company within the Life Sciences in the BioCon Valley of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with focus on R&D as well as on the production of goods made from seagrass.
  • The basis is the patented botanical complex MAREZOSTIN®,which makes the eelgrass an innovative, unique wide range raw material.
  • AQUAZOSTA investigates the utilization and the refinement of the marine resource eelgrass (Zostera marina) from the Baltic Sea, for new ranges of application. In our own network “Added value chain from sea to market” with partners from science, economy, technology and administration, the products made from eelgrass are developed for cosmetics, thalasso-wellness, health care and nutrition (food / feed).
  • The focus of AQUAZOSTA is the manufacturing of added-value products, continuous product innovations as well as the creation of new innovative jobs.
